What was unique about John Quincy Adams's election to the presidency? (Points : 1) He was elected as a Democrat and his father had been a Republican. He won the largest majority of the popular vote ever recorded. He defeated Henry Clay, who was much more well known than Adams. He was elected by the House of Representatives, not the Electoral College.
