Help! EASY geometry questions. I have quite a few i need help with! picture below!!
Do you know what integers and natural numbers are?
Not geometry...but pretty easy. As long as you pick any 2 positive integers, they will sum to a natural number. Natural numbers are just the counting numbers: 1,2,3,4,... Some mathematicians include 0...some do not.
Natural numbers are all positive numbers but 0…right?
Oh sorry @BangkokGarrett ! my class is geometry so im assuming all the work we are doing is geometry :p
Some include 0..some do not. Check your book. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_number
So any number is an integer?
What @BangkokGarrett said. This is a very broad question and if you know the definition of integers and natural numbers, you should be able to find many examples.
Okay! so 4+5=9 could work? anything like that?
Yup.
Thank you!
Integers are : ......, -5 , -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ....
Integers are natural numbers in addition to the negative natural numbers
okay! so no fractions are integers or anything?
No .. Just normal number. No fractions, decimals, etc
Thank you very much! I will post another question if i get stuck on one. I will tag you in it so maybe you can help! :)
