It's not A because estamos is in the nosotros form and la cocina is one separate thing (which doesn't include you) and in English it would be "Where are we the kitchen?" It's not B because estoy is I am in English so in English it would be "where i am the kitchen?" which doesn't make any sense. It's not D because estas is in the tu form but you're not directly asking the kitchen a question because that would be kinda weird. Tis why it is C, idk if that helps any more or if it makes sense at all :p
