Angles remain the same no matter what scale the polygons are resized. 

Look at the top one. It goes from 8 to 6. So y will go from y to...?

Ah well it doesn't reduce by subtraction. I wish it was that easy. But by a scale. The scale would be image over original, so 6/8 in this case.
