how do you find circumference on a circle and give me an example?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you measure the diameter and the radius. the diameter is from one end of the circle to the next, straight down the middle. and radius is half way the circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Circumference of a circle is:\[=2*\pi*r\] A circle 4cm across would have a radius of 2cm (2*r=diameter) and you plug in:\[2*2*\pi=4\pi\]

that's 12.5 im sure
