Find the sum of all 3 digit positive numbers divisible by 7 I'm getting stuck somewhere...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so I get the first term 104, last 994 and that it is arithmetic. Though I'm not sure if I'm putting it into the sum formula correctly: 142= number of terms 142(105+994) (1/2) and then getting 78029...not sure if that is the right answer

OpenStudy (raden):

the last term was correct, but not the 1st term. it should 105, right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Woops, typed that wrong. Yep you are correct.

OpenStudy (raden):

if so, you are right :)

Oh great! For some reason I had a different number down as the answer and was wondering if that was wrong or something I did was wrong. Thanks for the help!

OpenStudy (raden):

you're welcome :)
