(8.5 * 10^-6) * (2 * 10^-2) 8.5 * 2 = 17 so it would be 1.7 * 10^(-6-2+1)

but the only options are one point seven times ten to the third power one point seven times ten to the negative ninth power one point seven times ten to the negative seventh power one point seven times ten to the twelfth power
