OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I need to know what is less and why. Anyone that can tell me?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\[2i~~~~~and~~~~~~i\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

complex numbers are not ordered that way you can take the absolute value and order them but not the numbers themselves

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like asking what is larger \((2,-1)\) or \((3,5)\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

in coordinates would you go by the y values?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, they are not "ordered"

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Ok, thank you, @satelline!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

oh, forgot 73, sorry....tu again, have a good day / night!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw if you want to see the contradiction of an attempt to order complex numbers a google search will show you but you need to know what "well ordering" means, which i assume you do

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

TY!
