OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU so much!!! @douglaswinslowcooper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you figure that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are u sure about that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did u write the eq right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it said to solve the equation 10/6x+7=6/2x+9 and check for extraneous solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Simplify the fractions: 5/3x+7=3x+9 5/3x-3x=9-7 -4/3x=2 -4/3(3)= 2(3) -4x=6 -4x/-4=6/-4 X=-6/4 or -3/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain to me how to work it out ? @DSS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I just did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @DSS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5/3x+ 7=3x+9 5/3x+7-7=3x+9-7 5/3x= 3x+2 5/3x-3x= 3x-3x+2. This is the part I left out on my example.
