Over the first five years of owning her car, Gina drove about 12,700 miles the first year, 15,478 miles the second year, 12,675 the third year, 11,850 the fourth year, and 13,075 the fifth year. Find the mean, median, and mode of this data.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get the mean, Add all the numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then Divide by how many numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try and show me ur work :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha okay well can you please check if im correct? mean = 13,156, median = 12,700, no mode ???? 00:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@GirlByte

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the median and mode is correct but the mean is wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

has to be mean = 12,700 then ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait. your mode is correct but both of your median and mean is wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm... then its mean = 12,700; median = 13,156

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and no mode

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get the Mean, Add all the numbers. After adding them all, we get 52622.4 Then divide by how many numbers. after that we get 13155.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get the median simply rearrange the whole numbers in order and get the middle one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think i have that as an option... \:

are you sure i wasnt right the first time?
