Someone Helppp Meee!!! ***WILL GIVE MEDAL & FAN*** The tables below show solutions for the equations in a system of linear equations. Which ordered pair is a solution to the system? (-17,23) (-1,15) (5,5) (2,11)
cant help sorry
im not good at this stuff
It's fine!
I think it's either B or D. I do not know.
I think it's B.
I know the numbers that go into the questions marks....but I do not know the solution... eq 1. eq 2 x y x y -1 15 -7 23 2 10 -4 19 5 5 -1 15 8 0 2 11 11 -5 5 7
Ok thanks! I think the solution is what ever number is in both equations
Can you help me on my last question?
oh...then it would be (-1,15)
Match each system of linear equations with the quadrant in which the solution lies. Match each term with it's Defintion! 3x + 2y = -15 x – 4y = -20 10x – y = -30 x – y = -2 2x – 5y = 10 x + 2y = 10 3x + y = 9 -7x –7y = -14 A.) IV B. I C. II D.III
I'm really confused on this one!
3x + 2y = -15 x - 4y = -20 --->(-3) ---------------- 3x + 2y = -15 -3x + 12y = 60 (result of multiplying by -3) ----------------add 14y = 45 y = 45/14 or 3 3/14 sub 45/14 in for y x - 4y = -20 x - 4(45/14) = -20 x - 180/14 = -20 x = -20 + 180/14 x = - 280/14 + 180/14 x = - 100/14 = - 50/7 = - 7 1/7 solution is : (45/14, -50/7)......x is positive, y is negative Quadrant 4......A your just gonna have to solve the system of equations to determine what quadrant each one is in. 10x - y = -30 x - y = -2 --->(-1) ----------------- 10x - y = -30 -x + y = 2 (result of multiplying by -1) ---------------- 9x = -28 x = -28/9 x - y = -2 -28/9 - y = -2 -y = 28/9 - 2 -y = 28/9 - 18/9 -y = 10/9 y = -10/9 here we have x being negative and y being negative Quadrant 3 -- D
I would stay and finish but I have to go now......
Omggg Thnaks you !!! :) :)
What about the last 2? :)
