is 2x + 5= 7x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=1

OpenStudy (vianne):

2x can't add with 5 so 5 goes into 7 1 time :P x = 1 Hope I explained it good :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k thank yo

OpenStudy (vianne):

No problem yo. I likey to do dese mathy :D So fun

OpenStudy (vianne):

Wait I think I got it mixed up.. You move 5 to the side where 7x is and then subtract 7x - 2x = 5x Now we want to get rid of x so we do 5 divided by 5 = 1 X = 1 Better for you now?

OpenStudy (vianne):

Since 7 has an x then 5 can't go into it! Lol I thought 5 had an x as well What was I thinking??

OpenStudy (anonymous):
