It sure is. We have users from all over the world and their ages can vary from 13-40+. We do not want such exposure to go on cam as you never know who all will click it and enter the room. Its an intrusion of privacy.

OpenStudy was not made for the purpose of doing "Whatever you want". It was made to learn and educate others. This site is hardly for chatting with others, that was just an added feature to give some users a break. There are several websites you guys can do those things on such as Twitter, Facebook, ect.

This has been discussed before. I'e had to continuously report the same people and they won't stop. We even discussed it for a while, agreed to delete them and they STILL appear in the chats.

Yes, that's ok but as long as it's not public such as in questions or chats. Try not to PM random users though with the links. If someone wants your TC link, PM it.

YouTube doesn't include face-to-face socialization with random people from all around the world with no moderation of any type. You can have TC, but don't post your links in the chats and questions and DON'T start random new topics in Math or Design just to find TC people. Once again, this is considered spam if posted publicly.

I do believe that this will eliminate alot of spam, as well as eliminate distraction of alot of users, as i have been told by some users that when TC links are mass spammed then it distracts them from asking for help in the chat boxes. When people see help links then TC links then the asker does not get a chance to get help because the TC link was spammed and the askers link was overlooked. Thanks mods for noticing and addressing this issue. :}

Okay look this is a study based site and I Agree because just imagine a couple of teenagers chatting and then comes in a creepy 40 who is ugly af and ratchet as hell if you guys want to video cam it should be done through your PM and do something like Skype or send the link through pm some of you guys parents don't even know what you do online and some do but obviously things can happen a stalker can join then room then track where you live through the IP address of you computer some of you guys don't think past it just being your friends but because of things like tinychat people get killed and worse every day. So yea I agree that tiny chat should come off because it's not safe for the younger kids who don't understand what tiny chat is. so everyone stopped being conceited and only thinking about your self think about the little kids who don't know.
