I dont get what people did in order to pass the 19th amendment mostly what women did.

I'm no history buff, but the 19th amendment concerns voting. It basically states that no matter what your sex is, you have the right to vote. And as I'm sure everybody knows, it wasn't easy to get this right for women. If you want to learn more about this just look up women's suffrage movement. It played a huge roll in this.
