Israel gained land from four neighboring countries (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon). Also, Israel drew international criticism for the preemptive strike which it claimed was necessary for its national security. Many Arabs were displaced from their lands, or they found themselves living in Israeli-occupied lands, leading to much resentment against Israel over the following years. Militarily, the Six Day War was an amazing success for Israel. Politically, its results were not entirely positive.Israel defeated all of the Arab nations by which it was attacked
