I was wondering if someone could explain this equation for me.

f(x) = x3 + 8x2 -14x - 32
One root is -2 ; Find the others.

use synthetic division with the -2, once you do this and the remainder should be zero. your numbers that you get should be a quadratic equation. of which you could factor, complete the square, or use the quadratic formula to get your last 2 roots.

if you havent learned synthetic division, why is your teacher assigning this?
