a=b+4 b=3c+5 a=c=17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given a = c = 17 just substitite a = 17 in the first equation u get 17 = b + 4 and now u can find b :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for a its 17? and would i go b=3(17)+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes U can do that as well because it is given as c = 17 as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But it is easy to get value of b if u substitute in first equation ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused, sorry i suck at this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never Mind U got it right :) So Go with ur way :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i have b=3(17)+5 i times 3 by 17 and get 51? idk what to do next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b = 3(17) + 5 => b = 51 + 5 = 56 So now u have all the three values a,b and c thats what they asked I guess :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh i see. thank you(:
