Need some help figuring this one out please If you buy a school raffle ticket for $1, your overall probability of winning at least one of the prizes is 0.02. You can improve your odds of winning something by buying two tickets. What is the probability that one or the other of your tickets will win something? My Choices are A:0.0726 B:0.0740 C:0.0396 D:0.7400 E:0.0014

If one ticket has 0.02 chance of winning then just double that because you are doubling the amount of tickets so which answer is closest to 0.04

Read the student code of conduct, but it is ok I could have just gave the answer, but the whole point is to make sure that they know how to do it. We are supposed to help them figure it out not figure it out for them and them learn nothing but like I said it is ok no harm done. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow that is cool that you are graduating! glad to help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks for letting me know that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
