Explain this statement: The number of chromosomes vary among species and have little relationship to the complexity of the organism.

Omg I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier!!! I think it means that different species have different number of chromosomes. And that just because a species is complex doesn't mean it has more chromosomes than less complex species. Or vice versa. As in, less complex having more chromosomes.
