easy medal!!! Formula for volume for a sphere and pyramid! Need help soon.

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

I already gave that to you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Explain them then XD I'm so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The cones were easy but the sphere and pyramid confused me

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

Sphere: 4/3 pi r^3 Pyramid: 1/3bh Sphere is 4/3 of pi and r^3 so substitute the radius in for r and then multiply it by itself 3 times and then multiply it by pi(3.14) and then multiply it by (4/3) so say we have 2 as the radius. 2^3=8 and 8*3.14=25.12. The multiply 25.12*(4/3)= 33.49

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

Do u get that?

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

ANd then ill do pyramids if you understand this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not saying its ur fault but if you would have given me the formula for pyramid earlier I would have done better. Can you go ahead and and explain it to me? I understand the spere and got it right

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

Oh i did give you the formula. U asked for the formula of a cone, pyramid and sphere and i gave you all 3

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

The formula for the pyramid is (1/3) bh

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

so say the bass is 3 and the height is 5 we multiply them together to get 15 and take 1/3 of that and we get 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(1/3) b h is not a volume unless b is an area.

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

the volume of a pyramid is (1/3( bh

OpenStudy (jojo4eva):

or BxH/3
