I really need help with this!!
1. How long has the species has been in existence? I wasn't able to find much on this except that Spanish sailors discovered these tortoises in 1535.
2. How has the organism changed or adapted over time?
One adaption is that it can go an entire year without food or water since they are hard to find. I need at least one or two more!
3. What special adaptations does the organism have for survival? Again with the food and water thing, also when feeling threatened the tortoise isn't entirely defensive. It can retreat into its shell, and the scales on their l
