OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

What do the medals means?

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

I am always wondering this. On the page that says "115 currently online studying" it shows "16" medals next to it. What does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It means that they have recieved the best answer for a question

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Yes, I do know what those medals mean. But when you go to -113 members online - Then on the top right, you see "16 medals"

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Does it mean people with an SS over 70? Because there are 16 people with an SS over 70 online right now.

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Basically, when you give a medal to someone, it is when you are saying that their answer was the best answer to the question. When you go online and you go to specific section and it says, for example, "16 medals", then it means that in that section, you earned 16 medals. Let me give you another example. In the Spanish section, I have earned 160 medals, so it says "160 medals"

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Oh that makes sense! Thank you :D

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Your medal total for feedback just went up :P

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Oh my gosh! I got 82 medals in math? :0 I got to go check my other subjects lol! :D

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Aw, thanks. :D

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Oh cool! Thank you too! Now i got 17 lol :P

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Have an awesome day!

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

You too. A pleasure working with you. :3
