Will somebody check this for me? Geometry. Please help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The coordinate grid below shows triangle ABC and its image after translation, triangle A'B'C'.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which rule represents the translation seen? A) (x, y) → (x−6, y+8) B) (x, y) → (x+8, y−6) C) (x, y) → (x−8, y+6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then somehow D is left blank.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I don't think A B or C is correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So maybe D was supposed to hold the correct answer? I was just hoping you could confirm that I was correct in saying that none of these options are right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 @mathmale or @phi ?

OpenStudy (phi):

it looks like x+6, y - 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I thought.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since they're all very similar, I'd guess that D was supposed to say that.

OpenStudy (phi):

Yes, that is a good guess. Make a note for the teacher on this one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thinkk I'll screen cap it and email it to her. Thank you.
