Given the sequence of numbers: 5, 6, 8, 11, 15, 20, 26, 33, 41,… Explain whether or not this sequence can be considered a function.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

all sequences can be considered functions by default; they only have a single value for any given term

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question, i need to know if this one is a function, why or why not <3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And i don't have a clue

OpenStudy (amistre64):

odd, i thought i answered it when i explained why it was a function .....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how many values can you give for any specific term?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then by the definition of a function, it qualifies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh thanks haha

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)
