Which phrase represents the algebraic expression x minus 3? the difference of a number and three three added to a number the product of 3 and a number a number subtracted from three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if u think about it, 3 added to a number, x, wld be 3+x which is incorrect. the prodct of x and a number would be 3x because they are being multiplied together...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a number minus three would be 3-x which is also incorrect...so u have one choice left
