Well run through your options. Wind energy is produced when wind is used. Last time I checked cars do not have huge sails attached to them, so that's probably not it. Mechanical is good, because mechanical describes physical, tangible movement due to interacting material forces. Mechanical can best be remembered by thinking of a machine. Light energy is produced when light is used. Cars don't have solar panels (yet), so I'll just assume this is a normal car here. Sound energy is also known as acoustic energy. It is produced usually as a result of friction. In this case, sound energy would probably be produced (squeaking from car axle), but it wouldn't contribute to motion. Therefore, simply put, mechanical energy is the answer.
