He left me all alone
I thought we had something.
My life plans had been blown.
That very last kiss
Will sit high up on a thrown
Even though he has moved on.

I listen to the radio everyday
To hear he has survived.
He is stationed right outside of Bombay.
I turned on the radio this morning
Hoping not to hear the name Trey;
It kills me to think
I may never see his face again, per se.

I hear them say his name,
There has been another fallen soldier…”
What a shame.
It hurts,
I only have myself to blame
And there is no turning back the time.

Our love was hidden
So will be my pain.
My time will come, heart broke driven.
We will meet again
And when I see him, he may be forgiven
But I will meet him with tears,
My words will be forbidden.
