undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Is this right?

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

A motorcycle can travel 70 miles per gallon. Approximately how many gallons of fuel will the motorcycle need to travel 60 km? [1 mile = 1.6 km] 0.2 0.5 0.8 1.4 is this D?

OpenStudy (arbershabani97):

70mi per gallon=112km per gallon 112km/60km=1.8666667, i don't know if you wrote it right or whatever is the mistake

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

there is no 1.87 though...hmmm

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

@jigglypuff314

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

70 times 1.6 = 112 then solve for x when \[\frac{ 112 }{ 1 } = \frac{ 60 }{ x }\]

OpenStudy (arbershabani97):

oops, i found my mistake, its 60km/112km=0.535 and the answer is B, because 112 is number of gallons and not the one to divide

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

oh ok lol thx

OpenStudy (arbershabani97):

you're welcome :P
