Here's a quick explanation of Johnbc's answer. For 25^x to equal 125, x has to be 1.5, because 25^1.5 is 125. So we need z-5 to equal 1.5, and the answer for that would be 5.5

Set the equation to solve for Z. OR Guess and check. Eventually you will arrive to 1.5.

I do not remember this one pretty well except for what you multiply, divide, or/and add to the function transition and stretch it accordingly. So for example it could be -4(log4x-5) or something like that but very unsure if you know the rules for it you should be able to evaluate it pretty easily Hope that helps
