Paramaterizations More info: http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcII/ParametricEqn.aspx I need to know how to describe a 3D surface bounded by multiple equations. To do this I must parameterize the functions in terms of one variable rather than f(x) and g(y). As paul's notes explain, I need to transfer it to h(t). Can someone please connect the concept with finding max/min on the 3d surface.
