It is sooo cute but you asked how it could be improved well if you can you need to get a certain type of a pencil to do the out like of the bird also try taking your fingers and smudging it around the outside to make it look more feathery and fluffy :D

its great and I agree with @megopanda because I think birds look better when they are feathery on the outside
