After x+2/2 - x+1/3x have been combined using the least common denominator of 6x, what is the numerator? a. 3x^2 + 4x + 1 b. 3x^2 + 4x - 2 c. -3x^2 - x + 4 d. -x^2 + 3x + 4

OpenStudy (praxer):

i think you should check the options again because it should be 3x^2+4x+2... cause ((x+2)3x+2(1-x))/6x =3x^2+6x+2-2x/6x =3x^2+4x+2/6x the numerator should be 3x^2+4x+2
