Okay. First, lets review what a first-person narrator is. A first person narrator is the point of view from the character. In this case, the author is really trying to identify with one character. It allows the reader to really know what the character is thinking/feeling. First person means talking as if they were the character. Therefore, the author would use "I" "me" etc
