General form is Ax + By + C = 0 but it's easier to first start out with the point slope form and then change it over to general form.

Let's use the slope intercept form.

y = mx + b
y = (-1/3)x + (10/3)

Then we re-arrange it to general form.
Let's multiply both sides by 3

3y = -x +10
Now let's move it over all to one side.

3y+x+10

Would be center option.

Yes. Since you're given the INTERCEPT we need to use the Slope INTERCEPT form first instead of the general form. So you plug in the intercept into the "b" of the equation, and the slope into the "m" and then re-arrange.

Okay, so again, we use the slope intercept form.

y = mx + b

So what's b? It's 5 in this problem.
What's m? It's -1/5

y = (-1/5)x + 5
Multiply both sides by 5 to get rid of the fraction

5y = -x + 25
Move everything to one side

5y+x-25

the answer should have been x + 3y - 10 = 0
