OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you convert from m/s to revolutions per second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m/s = rad/rev * m/rad * rev/sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is rad and what if I am not given the number of revolutions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and how do I convert it the other way as well

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It's not that difficult. Divide the speed in m/s, by the circumference.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Other way... reverse the order of the above.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

eg. if the speed of a point on a circle is 10 m/s, and the circumference is 2m, how many revolutions per second?
