I forgot a step to this problem Can anyne help me out? -2 3/4 + 1/4 I calculated this and I got 2.5 then I forgot what comes next. Someone please help!

It might be a bit clearer if you were to write your -2 3/4 as -2.75, and that 1/4 as 0.75. Combining these two results in -2.75 + 0.25 = -2.50. Alternatively, you could write -2 3/4 as -11/4 and add 1/4 to that. You'd get -10/4, which reduces to -2 1/2, or -2.5 (as before).
