PLEASE HELP!!! I WILL REWARD MEDAL/FAN!!! The loudest insect on Earth is the African cicada. It produces sounds as loud as 105 decibels at 20 inches away. The blue whale is the loudest mammal on Earth. The call of the blue whale can reach levels up to 83 decibels louder than the African cicada. How loud are the calls of the blue whale? This is just a check, mind.

OpenStudy (jjuden):

african cicada loudness= 105 decibles blue whale loudness = african cicada loudness + 83 decibles blue whale loudness = 105 decibles + 83 decibles blue whale loudness = 188 decibles

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Seriously, that's a whole lot of problem statement for an addition problem.

OpenStudy (jjuden):

we all know @tkhunny

OpenStudy (lilai3):

Yes, I got 188, too. But this problem is an inequality. How do I put it into an inequality?

OpenStudy (lilai3):

@jjuden and @tkhunny please help!
