Can somebody tell me the steps for this ?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

first factor it then set each of the stuff inside each parenthesis equal to zero and solve for both.

So the function is : f(x)=x^2+12x+20, first we need to factor, that means find two numbers that multiply to 20, but add to 12 they are 10, and 2 and that's how you solve it. If they want it in the form: (x-?)(x-?), then it will be : (x-10)(x-2)

Thanks, @jigglypuff314 and @zeinas.
