An easy way to find common denominators is by multiplying them by each other.

So 2/3 - 7/8 ... In order to find the CMD. Mulitply both the top and bottom of the first fraction by 8 so it should look like. 2*8 / 3*8 = 16/24 and 7*3/8*3 = 21/ 24

21/24 - 16/24 = 5/24
