is 3=3(-1)+b which solved to b is -1=b how you change y-3=3(x+1) to slope intercept form just trying to see if I did it right

You use the point slope formula to obtain the slope (m) and then you can either use y=mx+b or use the point slope formula again as long as you have one of the two points that make up a line.
