when cell under mitosis have areas of rapid growth, where would you look for cells that are undergoing mitosis (2 areas) in a human body and plant body

see mitosis occurs in growing areas...as in mitosis is required for formation of new cells...so that eventually growth of a part is observed...so can u name a part of human and plant body where u see growth? for eg in plants lets say roots...they grow...
