the power series CnX^n diverges at x=7 and converges at x=-3. At x=-9, the series is? (a) conditionally convergent (b) absolutely convergent (c) divergent (d) cannot be determined
@agent0smith
A I think.
its divergent btw
Oh, sorry my mistake.
no its okay i just need to learn how to do these.....i hate finals.
Ah, what grade?
college
im a junior
Oh, I did not know that was collage question. LOL! It woulda been funny if I guessed it. What you going for?
im a math major right now but I'm switching into business. the university of colorado math department has literally made me hate math that bad (ive wanted to be a math major since middle school)
Dang, I have family all around there. One has a buisiness, not a buisinuss degree though lol.
LOL i also used to be a math major. I was a senior before I switch to mechanical engineer
yeah its beautiful and a great school but i pay too much money to go to this school than be taught by a bunch of idiots
$10,000 / year at my university :/ what a rip off
Yeah. I know how it is lol. Not even in collage. But if they don't know what there doing. Then why bother paying them?
wow! congrats on becoming an engineer though....way more BA
exactly
yo then do u know how to do this problem? im trying to study for my final on monday
I'm a teaching assistant and I feel bad for those students lol
When I go, I am going for Game Design, then PHP, C++, HTML, HTML 4 & 5, then CSS. All I want to learn for awhile.
Awesomeee
I don't get why it is convergent when x = -3. By the geometric series test, it should be divergent because abs(-3) > 1. are you sure you copied it rignt?
it is divergent
i need someone to work through every step with me please so i know how to do it for the exam
ahh.. after 10 minutes of intense thinking I know why it's divergent :) Gosh why am I so smart :D
