Quick question. Why is Zinc sulfate ZnSO4 and not Zn2SO4, since sulfate is SO4^2-?

OpenStudy (rane):

because Zn has a 2+ charge and so does SO4^2- the 2's cancels out |dw:1387085100604:dw|
