Are the two triangles below similar? A) Yes; they have proportional corresponding sides. B) No; they do not have proportional corresponding sides. C) Yes; they have congruent corresponding angles. D) No; they do not have congruent corresponding angles.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Check the angles of both.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I keep getting this one wrong ! Can someone help me ? I'll give a medal

OpenStudy (primeralph):

A and C are both correct if you know the sine and/or cosine laws.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it A?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Read what I wrote.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ranga

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then C

OpenStudy (primeralph):

You really should learn to read.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

No disrespect intended.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its alright, I guess. But its just that i cant figure out this question -____-

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Do you know the sine law?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Then just check the angles.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Find all the angles for both triangles. If they are the same, then they are similar.

OpenStudy (ranga):

If you are allowed to pick two answers, then C and A. If you are allowed to pick only one answer, then goo with C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I went with C and I got it right :) but thanks anyway @ranga
