what would happen to an animal cell with an internal salt concentration of .8 if it were placed in a solution with a concentration of 0.2%

if the effects of a high concentration of salt on animal cells will cause the cell to shrink because water will leave the cell through osmosis. The cell membrane must be preamble to water and thus the water must diffuse to the are where its less concentrated because the solution is more concentrated in the outside of the cell.
