How many grams of magnesium oxide can be produced when 125 g Mg react with 102 g O2? Unbalanced equation: Mg + O2 → MgO Show, or explain, all of your work along with the final answer.

I don't know chemistry, just give you the logic to do it in Math now balance the equation:\(Mg +\frac{1}{2}O_2\rightarrow MgO\) to me, it means 1g Mg with react with 1/2 g O, we have 125 g Mg, so we need 62.5 g O, the whole thing must weigh 125+62.5 = 187.5g MgO hehehe. I am joking, wait for Chemistry student.
