what are the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the given equation y=-5.6x + 6.9

OpenStudy (gschibby):

The slope would be -5.6 The y-intercept would be +6.9 ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+c where m is the slope i.e. how the line steep is and c is y intercept i.e. where the line crosses y axis s in ur equation slope is -5.6 & y intercept = 6.9 you can also calculate the value of the angle to which the line is steep to axis as slope=tan@=-5.6
