OpenStudy (mertsj):

Can't use a number with a percent sign in a problem. Must express it as a decimal or fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.4

OpenStudy (mertsj):

percent means per hundred.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is .4 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 0.4

OpenStudy (mertsj):

4% = 4 per hundred = 4/100=.04

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6000*.04*1/12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mertsj):
