Part A: Explain why we do not measure the rate at which a sprinkler waters a lawn in cubic feet per minute? In your explanation, use reasoning based on appropriate units to model this situation. Part B: What are the two quantities that should be measured to find the rate at which a sprinkler waters a lawn? Explain how the rate can be determined.

i reckon that watering the lawn should be expressed in litres per minute or gallons per minute. then you'd also need to know the surface area being watered in sq metres or sq feet. to work out the gall/min just read the water meter to work out the area it would be pi*r^2 where r is the radius (sprinkler at the center)
