What is the inverse of the function below?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want to do the same as the last one I helped you with.. switch the x and y to get x=9^y take the log(base9) to get y=log(base9)x, theres your inverse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\large b^x=y\iff x=\log_b(y)\] switch back and forth to do these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example \[10^3=1000\iff \log_{10}(1000)=3\] and \[7^2=49\iff \log_7(49)=2\]
